What Is Live In Care
As the name suggests 'live-in care' involves a carer living in your home. Our carers are there to support and assist in your daily routine. Carers generally stay with a client for between 6-8 weeks at a time working seven days a week with no days off. We rotate carers so that there is always a handover and no gap between carers. We aim to build a team of 2 or 3 carers that match both a client's needs and personality and then rota this dedicated team on an ongoing, regular basis. This way clients and carers quickly get to know each other.
Clients have the reassurance of familiar faces returning and carers quickly become accustomed to a client's needs and routine, all carers are fully trained and undergo full employment checks.
What Carers Do
Our live-in carers can help with domestic tasks such as cooking and cleaning and also provide help with personal care such as getting dressed, bathing, medication, dementia care, mobility care and companionship. Live in care promotes independence and allows individuals to remain in control of their lifestyle.
